What is Career Development?
-
A lifelong practice that, whether you know it or not, started when you were born!
-
It's the process of managing life, learning, and work over your lifespan!
-
Several factors influence your career development, including your interests, abilities, values, personality, background, and life circumstances.
-
Throughout your life, you will change, situations will change, and you will continually have to make career and life decisions.
-
Thus, the process of career development starts, evolves, and repeats — and never ends until retirement (and in many instances, not even then).
